Amelia Takes On the World

Amelia got to see Dr. Hines on Thursday for a good report and for some not fun shots, however, she did great with them and was her normal playful self for the most part.  She tried to eat everything in site at the doctors like the doctor’s arm, her own foot, the paper on the table… pretty funny.  Obviously she is eating enough though, here are her stats:

Weight: 16 lbs 15 oz, 65th percentile

Height: 25 1/4 in, 35th percentile

We don’t go back until 9 months assuming all goes well.

My first tooth popped through on Thursday – my six month birthday…. its my bottom left one – the bottom right isn’t far behind and should be out any minute now. I’ve been drooling like crazy and its no wonder. I like to suck my thumb and play with my tooth – its sharper than I thought.

I decided to have my 1st laugh for my mom this morning after she kissed my belly during a diaper change – she got all excited – don’t know what the big deal is… maybe I’ll do it again soon.

My parents think I know my name now – I definitely like to turn towards them when I hear it.  But it could also be that they say it in such a fun voice that I’d turn anyway.  I’ll let them have their fun.
