Amelia Takes On the World

Amelia forgot to tell me her thoughts last Thursday and then we went out of town and didn’t take any pictures.

However, Amelia did great on our drive up to Charlotte to visit friends.  She LOVED their dog, Sierra.  LOVED.  Sierra would lick and Amelia would giggle – it was fun to watch.  And no allergic reaction we could see which is so nice.  Maybe she won’t be allergic to everything afterall (knocking on wood).  She also copied Brent once and said ‘apple’ and I think I got her to say ‘yellow’ once as well.  Her language seems to be developing faster now – both words and signs, which is very useful.  Soon we’ll be having conversations and I’ll wonder where my babbler went.

We enjoyed great food and wine and company, and the drive wasn’t too bad.  Shame its so hard to rely on finding gas, but luckily I got 10 gallons this morning and can come to work this week.

Oh can anyone tell me how Amelia knows its Sunday night and to have a bad night??
