Amelia’s Thursday Thoughts: September 18, 2008
Hi there! Its me, Amelia. I’ve snuck onto the computer while my grandparents babysit me today. They let me get away with anything. (Love you grand pappy and nonni!)
SO it turns out the reason why I’ve had all these nasty diapers and this awful rash on my tush — I have salmonella. Can you believe it? Who knows from what, but now I’m on some antibiotics to finally get it out of my system since 6 days in I still wasn’t over it. This has not been fun at all, but at least I got to spend lots of quality time with my mom.
I’m actually feeling pretty well now, and I can’t wait to start seeing other kids again. This weekend we’ll have music class and next week – back to Primrose. I can’t wait to see my friends. I miss other kids. Mom is great and all, but she isn’t small like me and doesn’t understand why I want to feed myself with a spoon.
Yesterday we had a bit of a dance party so mom will be posting that video soon – I love to dance and I have some new moves now. An arm swing dance move. Its cool….
I hope everyone is having a better week than we have had – but we are all doing much better now.
