The Day After The Chaos
A big thank you to everyone who could come celebrate Amelia’s birthday – it was fun, and Amelia seemed to really enjoy everything going on. Since having 16 kids in our basement was a bit chaotic (are we sure there weren’t 30 or 40?), we had decided to wait for gifts until Sunday morning after a good night of sleep for the birthday girl. We also realized we hadn’t taken a good picture of her wearing her party dress, so on it went, along with the hat when she would cooperate.
Amelia loves her balloon! She did well with the gift opening, much better than at Christmas when paper scared her. Its hard to tell what her favorite thing to play with is – she loves the classic cell phone, she loves the books (particular if she is in her new reading chair), she loves her push toys… and there were lots of fun clothes to look fashionable in this fall too. Thank you everyone for your generosity – we appreciate your friendship and hope you had a good time at the party as well.
Reading one of her new books in her big comfy reading chair from Nonni. Thanks Nonni, its the perfect size.
Its a fridge farm! I had great fun making a pig-cow and taking all the pieces off the fridge while mom was cooking dinner.
I love touch and feel books – they are the best – thanks!
My Nonni stayed the night and helped us open everything. Thanks Nonni!
Thank you everyone – you were too generous – but Amelia loves everything and had such a fun morning.
Showing off my serious side…. I’m in awe.
Being silly! I even put the phone to my ear to talk, it was too cute. And I really like my Dora carnival push toy – it lets mom & dad get ready in the bathroom while I play and play and play.
Thanks everyone!!! Its been such a great wonderful year and it wouldn’t have been the same without all our wonderful friends and family.

What a great idea to take pictures so guests can see her with her toys! We had a great time. Thank you again for having us!
