A Rainy Day…

Well a rainy weekend actually.  Luckily we had a break in the rain and Amelia got to go out and play for a little bit.  Here are some pics from this past weekend.

Just playing around.

Taking a walk with dad.

I use my arms and my tongue to help me concentrate and go uphill.

Posing for mom on the front porch – and singing Twinkle Twinkle.

On a different note – we also tried to take a 16 week belly shot for baby number 2.  I was much better about taking pictures with Amelia, but I want to document this one too – what I didn’t count on was Amelia’s insistence on being a part of the picture.

They say you show sooner the 2nd time and they were right about that.  Here is a 1st time (below left), 2nd time (below right) comparison.  Its always hard to tell when in different clothes, but its a big difference trust me.  And truly – I only weigh about a pound more now than I did at this point with Amelia, so its not just weight.

Hope everyone else got to enjoy their rainy weekend.  In addition to it being a great time with Amelia – we also got to cheer our Blue Devils on to an ACC Championship – Go Devils!

Baby Momma

Edited to add: I forgot to tell a funny Amelia story – well I have a couple actually. She wanted to go back outside, she had so much fun on Sunday. We didn’t really want to, it was drizzling again. So she took baby dad’s keys, picked out the right type of key, and was trying to get it in the deadbolt to go out. Luckily she is short, cause we are in trouble when she can reach. I thought the deadbolt would be safe! The other funny story is just how good she is getting at manipulating me. I just didn’t know it started this early. For example – she likes to buckle the buckle on her booster seat (her saying buckle is so adorable too). Well I don’t encourage it and after once or twice I won’t undo them for her. She knows this. So she told me she wanted more to eat, knowing I would undo them to put her in, then she refused to get in and then did the buckle. Sneaky little thing! She is going to be trouble.
